Warmin' Up with PowerStretch

Background:
Our first project for 2016 is all about warming up! Karen made a warm up top, perfect to layer or wear with a vest. This top was super easy to make with or without a serger machine. A great wardrobe addition to exercise in or for everyday wear. We’re already excited to make more for yoga, hiking, running and warming up for team sports this spring!

Pattern:
McCalls pattern # M7261 view A.
The fabric yardage was accurate. We found that the pattern runs small so you should go up at least one size depending on how snug or loose you want the top to fit. You can avoid the princess seams by using a serger.

Fabrics:
We used Polartec Power Stretch Jersey/Velour # 9428-87358 Nightshade. That is the purple part of the top. This fabric has Strie in it, which is a slight striping effect. Polartec Power Stretch also has nylon added for additional durability. The black fabric is also a Power Stretch #9401-9050 which is a regular stock item on our website. We recommend any of the Power Stretch fabrics with this pattern
